We like the idea that all of our students are learning all of
the steps in all of the dances with the exact same information and
teaching style of our owner and instructor Cyndi Dorber who has been
teaching social ballroom, country western, swing, Latin and line
dancing for 20 years. She loves it and you know it. She continues to
train in both teaching skills and in her own dance. “It keeps me
excited and it reminds me about the challenges of learning something
new!”
Our teachers are comprised of highly trained social dance people and
are entertaining in all styles of dance. Our focus is to keep it
“FUN!” We offer a wide variety of social dance ranging from ballroom
to Latin to swing to country western for all ages from children
through adults. We do not profess to be competitive teachers
however, we are happy to send you to other professionals in the
business we respect who specialize in competitions.
We teach through facilities utilizing local city parks and
recreation programs enabling us to keep the costs reasonable and the
space large enough to learn comfortably in.
We enjoy watching people learn how to dance with each other. It
sparks so much personal growth, rekindles so many relationships,
it’s fun, and it gives people that added boost of confidence. People
may say they are coming for the dance steps however, many benefit
from meeting new people, getting exercise and acquiring grace and
poise. Many have come back from weddings and corporate functions
raving about the compliments they have received even after taking
just a handful of lessons.
Many people who say they have two left feet, have taken a chance on
dance and to their delight, have learned how to salsa, foxtrot,
waltz and swing as well as two step and even dance the electric
slide. It’s lots of fun and a great stress reliever.
The dance community is so welcoming. We all remember what it’s like
when you first start. It’s challenging. But once you see that you
can do it, it’s great! Dancing is a passion that needs to be shared!
